that super staight asian hair? i'm soo (ooooooo) sorry. my husband has that hair and he's blond haired and blue eyed. i hate it. it's the worst to work with. you must have some SERIOUS PATIENCE. i applaud you for dealing with it this long. i couldn't have.

if you part your hair on the right (for left do it backwards). use a round brush and a blow dryer. hold brush by the handle at the forehead. lift up and under the bang area at an angle towards the left. roll brush down and to the left side diagonally.

try blow drying at the root sideways to get it to go sideways. blow on hot then use the cold shot button (the blue button on the dryer). keep the brush and dryer moving to get roots and ends dry.

this should help. if not, go into where you get your hair done and ask if someone could show you how to do it on another client. usually clients won't mind being a model for someone who WANTS to know how to style her own hair.

besides, if one stylist is bussy, another one could blowdry her client to help her catch up. could be a win-win situation.
