Well, I'm not really sure what kind of shampoo to use on my hair, and what brands are good? I'm an Asian guy with medium length straight hair. My hair isn't that coarse, I would say it's a little smooth.... but not so much. =)

I swear by this brand called Neways. Its a MLM brand, but the product is good because I have new strands of hair growing after using for 3 months, my hair which is limp and gets oily easily has volume after using it and it is cheap - shampoo costs something like SGD17 or EUR8/-. The contents are supposedly not cancer-causing agents. None of the shampoo brands from the supermarket works the same. You can get this through newways office which is located globally - check out website for locations. If you sign up as a distributor, you get cheaper distributor price.

I'm not sure how much you want to spend on your hair products, but American Crew for men has an excellent daily shampoo. You can find it online or at most hair salons. They have an entire line of hair care products designed for men. Good luck.
