How do I get rid of dark underarms?

I am asian. When I pluck my armpit hair they get dark. When I shave they still get dark. I tried waxing same thing. Someone said it's because the skin gets wounded that's why it gets dark. So is there any way that it doesn't??

Oh and I don't put deodorant for a day after removing hair. And another note, I wasn't born with dark underarms.

I would say trying baking soda 1/8 tsp of baking soda and 1/4 tsp of water. And frm what I heard, this works.
