alright ladies (and gents), I'm in need of some opinions here.

There are two girls at my school who I'm pretty sure I have a shot at, and while I don't "love" either I like them both at least a little, and I wonder which one I ought to commit to...

Lady #1) Blond, blue eyes, but not the typical airhead (and not as pretty as the typical airhead) but still definitely good looking, fun, plays the same musical instrument as I do, strong-spirited, slightly disliked by others cuz she can be a little bossy, not so good at flirting (she's pretty obvious) so I'mjust about 95% sure I could get her.

#2) Much more experienced than #1, so harder to read tho my gut says she likes me, asian, very pretty (long dark hair, great laugh), great body, very intelligent, high ambitions, we're both agnostic/atheist, very interesting to talk to, I think I have less of a chance with her but she's definitely really cool, well-liked, she's in some afterschool clubs I'm in.

I'd go with #2- It's not always about looks. What's on the inside is a whole lot more important. The two of you share religions (or is that non-religious) view, and you say that she's interesting to talk to.... and you share some other interests (after-school activities).

You may have "less of a chance," but what would you loose if she says no?.... You still have a great friend, and as an old married fuddy-duddy, I can tell you that being married (or any long-term relationship) to your best friend is best.

How about NEITHER since apparently you are still in the 'I can 'get' her' stage! Let them come to you, it'll be a better feeling in the long run.

But, I'll be honest with you. I wouldn't want to date a guy like you, cuz you're obviously self centered.

You have a lot of growing up to do before your worth any decent girl's time.

So quit trying to "get her" and start trying to make yourself someone who the girls want to be "gotten" by. And I don't mean start working out.

You don't NEED a girlfriend. And if you do, than you aren't passed the blankey stage.

It sounds like you are way more interested in #2 but as you stated earlier you are neither in love with either of them and you not sure if #2 would go for you! Don't go for either at the moment, hang out a little with them and assess the situation. See if they are interested in you before you make any certain moves. Or instead of making a commitment, start dating them! Make sure both know that your dating but not sleeping with either of them.... take your time and see how things go!
