When shaving legs, does the hair come out more darker and thicker? Your hair may seem darker and thicker only because you've cut off the fine ends. When you cut the hair it makes a blunt cut causing it to appear darker. Your hair doesn't change though. As for bumps, just use a moisturizing shave gel for sensative skin. Make sure your razor isn't dull. If your using disposable, don't use it more than 2 times. Veet and nair can aggravate sensative skin. If you want your hair to grow in finer there is always the option of waxing. That pulls the hair from the root. When it grows back it'll appear finer and lighter. If you wax all the time then eventually it will kill the roots and less and less of your hair will grow back.

When shaving legs, does the hair come out more darker and thicker? whatevr u do not veet or nair they say keeps you hairless yah but they cream leves red bumbs all over try keeping a rzr that has more blades and make sure you change the blade after a few times cuz it might get little nicks and it wont leave a clean soft shave and it will also be more likely to get cut because the blade wont be as sharp remember NVR shave dry hope i helped:)

I can recommend you Gilette mach 3 for men, I love it, as it is for mens faces, it is really easy to shave with it, and you wont cut yourself as easily as with others.
Always use some shaving foam though or soap when shaving so your skin wont be irritated. NEVER shave dry!!!
I dont like using cremes that dissolve the hair, as it has a lot of chemicals in it, and i have very sensitive skin. If it is able to dissolve my hair, what is it able to do to my skin then?! Feel me.!
Try whats best 4 you...and put some cocoa butter on after youre done shaving, that will make your skin super smooth!

When shaving legs, does the hair come out more darker and thicker? It does not actually come back thicker, it's an optical illusion, it comes back all the same length so it looks thicker. I like using hair conditioner, yes the same stuff you use on your hair, it softens and conditions the hair and skin and you get a really close shave.
Waxing it the only method I have found that gives you a longer time between removal methods, it hurts like crazy the first time, gets better each time, faster and easier and the hair really does come in finer and thinner the longer you do it.
No red bumps either which are caused by a number of things, bad razor, bad skin condition, goose bumps while you're shaving.

It might appear that way to us, though...after all, after you shave, you have smooth, hair-free legs so you're not used to see all that hair there, and then it comes back again--so it might look darker. Also, shaving CAN cause the hair shaft to split, so where you had one hair coming out of a pore, it might look like you now have two or three---it's still the same single hair, but it's been split now. The risk with shaving is that you can develop ingrowns, but even with other hair removal methods, that's a problem.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend any depilatories--I'm Indian, and my hair is really thick/coarse in general, so they don't work well for me (believe me, I've tried so many of them, even leaving them on for longer periods than the directions say, and they don't work for me!). However, if you've got fine hair, it might work quite well.
My current fave razor is the Gillette Daisy Disposable Razor for Women, Pivot with Comfort Hold. I've used this for the past couple of months, and never had any nicks/cuts--always a plus. Plus, I got a nice, close shave with it.
If you get red bumps after shaving, this could be a sign of irritation. Make sure to use a shaving cream/gel, not just soap and water--it adds an extra layer between your skin and the blade (more protection).
Also, be very careful about ingrowns when shaving, particularly if you have coarse or curly hair. Ingrowns happen with the hair curls back into the skin after shaving (the end gets cut blunt so it can do this), and forms a bump. Often, this can resolve itself, but sometimes it can form a very painful bump, which can lead to a cyst. If you do notice an ingrown, keep an eye on it. If it fixes itself, great. Otherwise, try a gentle exfoliator (scrub) or apply a cream with either AHAs or BHAs to the area. This sometimes helps to bring the hair to the surface, where it can be removed. If you ever use a tweezer or a needle to get the hair out, be sure that it is sterilized, and then apply an antibiotic cream over the area. If it does become a cyst, or it's painful or difficult to get out, you should get a doctor to look at it. If you catch it in time, you may only need antibiotics to make the infection/inflammation, go away--along with hot compresses to the area. Otherwise, sometimes you'll need them to lance the area and remove the hair, which is a lot more painful.
Another thing to do if you get ingrowns is to use a product containing salicylic acid or any other ingrown-prevention product. One is Tend Skin, but it's sort of pricey ($20 a bottle, I think), though I heard it has pretty good reviews. Apparently, there are pretty simple ways to make this same product at home, just search Google with "homemade Tend Skin" for more info.
