I'm half Korean, so my hair is pretty dark. Not super black like most Asians, just a dark brown. I dye it all the time but nothing drastic... just different shades of brown. For the Summer I wanted to try something different, I wanted to go Ashy Blonde/Light Brown... but if it will be a good idea? Plus will I have to bleach it?

It depends on your personal skin tone. I've seen tan/ peachy colored asians with blondish hair and it looks really wierd.
You should maybe ask a salon, they can give you pointers, im sure they've seen it all.
