I think expectant parents always get a bit excited especially if it's a first time baby, and the guessing starts,is it a boy is it a girl, will she have this will he be like that.I'm pretty sure there's no full proof way of predicting a child's appearence. But from these genetic factors, which is the most likely hair texture and color/eye color?
I have Curly black hair/green eyes
He has Curly black hair/brown eyes (slightly asian)
My mother has Straight brown hair/hazel eyes
My father has Straight blonde hair/blue eyes
His mother has Curly black hair/blue eyes
His father has Straight black hair/brown eyes (asian)
My grandmothers
Straight black hair/blue eyes
Curly hair (?) probably blonde/brown eyes
My grandfathers
Wavy blond/blue eyes
Straight sandy brown/brown eyes

If he is Asian, most likely the child will have dark hair. Light hair only can occur when both parents pass on the recessive gene for it. It is unlikely for an asian to have a light hair recessive gene. As far as eyes, your child will most likely NOT have blue eyes. Blue eyes can only occur if both parents pass on the trait and you likely do not have one, as you have green eyes. (Hazel eyes are a cross between green and brown and are formed when those 2 traits mix). The baby could have hazel eyes, green eyes or brown eyes. My guess would be brown because that is dominant.

Odds are baby will have straight, dark hair and dark eyes however, there is a possibility for curly hair, probably dark, and blue eyes since both you and your hubby have def inherited the genome for blue eyes, he from his mother, and you from your father, since both must have blue eyed genes only in order to be blue eyed, therefore can only pass on a blue eye gene. Green is a variation of brown eyes, (as gray is a variation of blue) Congrats on the baby!

I am assuming you are serious... But come on! What about healthy and great Apgar scores and no lung or breathing problems? Is the baby's look really that important or are you just bored and posting a question? Will you love it less if it looks one way or the other? I am having my first and my biggest concern is getting her here alive and healthy. I could give a doggone what she looks like because she will be the most beautiful baby in the world to me and her father! WOW.

Dark hair is a dominate trait so your child will have black/brown hair. Brown is dominate over blue and green so more than likely your child will also have brown/hazel eyes. But it can vary because my father has brown eyes and my mother has blue and my eyes are blue but my sister has browns eyes that have turned green. If one parent cares the black hair and red hair trait and the other cares the black hair and blonde hair trait the baby will have black hair.
If you don't find an answer that's good enough for you trying looking up genetics for a better explanation.

Ok, my daughter is half Hawaiin and my husband has black hair/brown eyes and i have brown hair/brown eyes and she came out with a beautiful red hair/dark brown eyes and white, but does tan good. My son looks more Hawaiin than my daughter. No one except my grandmothers son has red hair so maybe she got it from her side
