Jergens Naturally Smooth Shave Minimizing Moisturiser PLEASE HELP?

Hi Heeram- i have used this product the day after waxing my arms and underarms. I use it the day after waxing to avoid any irritation, and I use it every day for about a week after I wax. Instead of having to wax every 2 weeks, i only have to wax once a month. It made the hair grow back much slower than usual %26amp; a little bit thinner. But overall, the difference is not that significant. I doubt that it would have any noticeable difference if you just used it alone, without waxing first. I don't know if they sell it in england, but I think they've discontinued it here in the u.s.

For you, if you can't afford laser hair removal, definitely wax. It does hurt the most the very first time you do it -- since the roots of the hairs are all strong %26amp; thick. But I promise that the more often you wax, the less it will hurt since you will start to wax the hairs before they've grown in all the way. Also, over time they will grow in thinner - it's an old wives tale that waxing makes the hair thicker: that's simply the opposite of my experience. My hair has gotten *much* thinner over the years as I continue waxing.

I had *very* thick, black hair too, and when I tried the bleaches, it just made me look like I had a thick golden sparkling mustache! Not pretty. The trick to waxing for me was to get it professionally done once, and then learn from the waxer %26amp; practice those techniques at home. I became an expert in just a couple months and this saves the huge expense of professional waxing. Here is the biggest secret about waxing: dust your skin with talcum powder (baby powder) before applying the wax. If you get hot or a little sweaty as you continue waxing, re-apply the powder as needed as you go. It helps the wax stick to the hairs *much* better. I've also found that real cloth strips work a *lot* better than paper strips %26amp; are worth the money.

Good luck, and don't be discouraged. This is a long-term thing, but it will get better in time. Also, you can wax *every* part of your body: face, neck, arms, underarms, legs, bikini area, and anywhere you have hair.

I've not heard of this product, but jolen bleach is a really good one for lightening dark hair on your face and neck (I'm speaking from experience here!) it works on arms as well.

The best thing I've found is laser treatment, it is costly and hurts a bit but is permanent and doesn't scar, unlike electrolysis.

Sorry i've not really answered your question but I hope that's of use!
