Basically, my hairs mixed [british/asian] but mostly Asian hair, and its REALLY dry, and really thin at my fringe! I want it to be like thick and smooth, plus i have like flicks on the corners of my fringe, just a natural curl, so i have to straighten it which makes it even more thin and dry.. If you want your hair to get thicker, you should start taking vitamins. They help with the growth of your hair. Also, trim your ends every 6-8 weeks.

As for the dry hair, purchase some Aussie Moist Shampoo for Dry/Damaged hair. You can find it at your local drugstore, works wonders. Also, a conditioner you should use is Alberto VO5 Conditioning Hairdressing for dry hair. Use it once or twice a week.

Since it's dry, maybe you should try switching to products specifically for dry hair. In addition, try a deep conditioner at least once a week.

As for your hair texture, that can usually be managed with a good haircut. It sounds like your hair is not cut properly to the texture. A good, proper hair cut should allow your hair to be natural and fall nicely without constantly having to coax it into place. I would probably get a layered cut where the edges aren't razored (which can dry out hair)...I would also try wearing it with more body and wavier--this will hide the dryness of the hair and make if full looking.

Head massages maximise hair growth and hair qualtily.

Use hot oil treatments (can buy from shop or you can heat up olive oil and apply to hair, then shower)

You could pin your fringe bak if that would stop the temptation of straightening, Also this is a really good anti-frizz serum 'garnier fructis smoothing cream sleek %26amp; shine' if i use quite alot it can smooth little flicks on my hair (but everyones hair is differnt!)

i hope i helped =] x

I am a hair dresser. Make sure you use rinse-out conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and heat-protector before you use your appliances. Use a blow-out cream, lotion, or spray before you blow dry. Use some hair oil, oil sheen, and maybe some serum. Garnier Frucis, Suave, Frizz Ease, and Dr. Miracles have wonderful product lines and are sold at Walmart and most drug stores. Hope this helps!
