Here is my situation:

We both attend the same college. We just came back from Christmas break and he seemed very happy to see me. We have and are continuing to hang out regularly. When we hang out, it usually to go to a dance of classical music concert and then we spend from 12 midnight to 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning talking; I was also his date at the christmas ball.

Now... during Christmas break, according to him, I was the only friend he kept in contact with. He called me twice, before I called him. Each time we spoke over the phone it was for almost 2 hours.

He does not have much experience with girls and is shy, but he did fall for a girl in his high school. She does not attend our college, but I saw her. The thing is that I look nothing like her. She is white has short blonde hair and I am black and asian with long black hair. I am worried that he does not find me attractive. People say that I am very pretty. I am worried since he has not tried to kiss me yet. Again, he is shy

it sure sound like he like u to me. i tihnk u should keep doing wat u are doing because u really have no competition since the otehr girl isnt around.. im sure he wil do something if he relaly likes u

Sounds like he likes you a lot and more than just the late night chatting buddy way. Do not concern yourself with not looking like his ex in high school. In my personal experiences I have dated caucasians, asians, trinidadians, germans, english, french the whole gamut. From blond hair blue eyes to dark haired, tall to short. Past dating experiences are not indicative of future dating habits.

If you like hanging out and speaking with him. Then just relax and let the relationship grow naturally. But if you really want to speed things up then in a non-threatening way tell him that it is okay with you if likes you.
