the best thing to do is start going to a cosmetic counter like at the malls and ask for tips and try out their make up. if you like it then purchase it. whatever you do...do not wear foundation cause it's too heavy for young skin. im asian too and i started out with clinique. but i didn't like it. i would suggest either mac or benefits. if you want to go for more powder then go for bare minerals. i liked mac and benefits powder as well. and for more less expensive and simple stuff like eye liner or whatever go to a drug store and get cover girl. best make up tip...go really light and just use what you need to bring out more highlights of your features.

what does"noob" mean?

The best way to find out professional tips on how to put on makeup would be to go to a Mary Kay party. Find someone in your area who sells it and is throwing a party, they let you try the product for free and tell you how to put the makeup on. Its really hard to give makeup tips when you're not seeing the other person.

well if you want to look kind of natural then use sage greens or browns for eye shadow. and just a powder to keep your skin from looking oily...you could even add mascara and brown or black eyeliner in to the mix but i think brown would look nice on your completion...I'm blonde so i have light fair skin and i use black but i think with brown hair brown will look good. and when you go out just add some lip gloss and maybe a purple (something that's sutle but stands out) for an eyeshadow. i just kind of go with what i feel will look good....so don't worry so much...just don't use to much.

Your best bet is to go to several stores and get product make overs. You can try out the product and different looks. Because you are young you might need a parent with you before they are willing to do your face (they want to know their is a chance of a sale) but be firm that you are new to makeup and want to try several before making a final descision. If there is a Sephora in your town they are very teen friendly and can show you how to take a day look into the night.

I agree with another answer... Try a Mary Kay consultant. You can go to: www.marykay.com

to find a consultant in your area. Then, they can show you exactly what colors and application you should be using. You can try everything for free and whatever you buy is refundable or exchangable (depends on the consultant) as a Mary Kay company guarantee. This is how I learned and eventually started selling it because I loved it so much. Good Luck!

you need foundation, blush, powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara. If you're looking for a natural look use earth tones for your eyes, brown, or green.get a light blush. Try the foundation on the top of your hand to see if its the right color. Try using a brown-black mascara, and eyeliner so its not to dramatic. My favorite kind of make-up is mac. But if you want something less expensive there are several brands of make-up that you can find at grocery stores, wal-mart, or target.

Try the Beast to Beauty news letter for tips I do use it and find that is useful. but most importantly always match your skin tone

with the make up you are going to use free or not.it doesn't

matter what company you use. as long as you are happy.

after all you are the one that has to wear it.
