Loose curls......?

hey!

yeahhh asians represent! :) :) lol.

anyways, i also have really straight hair and hah i think our hair is almost styled the same way, soo hopefully i can help!!

i find that there are 2 good ways to curl hair:

1. curling hair, of course. I have a Conair curling iron [ it's purple, fyi lol ] and i think it's 22$. i got mine at Shoppers Drugmart but i'm sure you could find it anywhere... walmart.. zellers. Also, i'd reccomend a hairspray, i like Redken because it holds well and has no smell. [ i find that hairsprays can smell bad]. curling is really easy, and you'd probably get used to it after a few tries.... First, grab about a 2 inch section of hair, and clip the rest of your hair back, or move it away from your section of hair. Then hold out your hair straight with one hand [ your bad hand ] and using your writing / good hand with the curler in hand, open it and close it at the bottom of your hair. Twirl your hand in an upward direction until it's about an 1-1.5 inches from your scalp. Hold it there for about ten seconds and then open the curler slowly and remove it from your hair. Repeat this with all sections of your hair until you are complete. Once complete, optional, spray hairspray over your hair to help keep in place. If you wanted to make your hair more wavy rather than curly, use a hair dryer to blow your curls which will loosen up the curls and make it more wavy! :)

2. { easiest way for me } after you shower, put your hair in about 2-3 buns [ if it's at night time ] and sleep on it, which might be a little uncomfortable... but... hey- beauty is pain! haha not really but anyways, when you wake up, spray a little bit of hairspray on your buns and then remove them. this should have added some messy curls, finger comb your curls and then blow dry your curls to create more waves.. it works for me , and hopefully for you! you could curl some of the pieces that may have fallen out or not have gotten to curly.. so hope it works well!

:):) so yeah, that's a good way to curl hair!!

and idk about straightners.. i dont use one, so i'm sorry but i can't help... :S

but i hope i helped you with curling!! :D:D good luck!

Loose curls......?

my curling iron was like 13 dollars. when you're curling your hair, try using one inch or 3/4, cause for asian hair, it gets a little looser as the day goes by.

also, dont use the clamp. try wrapping your hair AROUNd the barrel so you can curl the top. and that's all there is to it.

this is what it looks like right after i curl my hair. (3/4 barrel).

Loose curls......?

Use a curling iron and just wrap your hair around the barrel but don't clamp it down.... hold it and let it go and use hair spray
