Either color would look great with your skin tone. But personally, I would say purple, it would really bring out your black hair. For makeup, try a deep burgundy eyeshadow for a smoky eye rather than black. Covergirl has a great one with shimmers in it. Highlight your brow bone with a light gold eyeshadow and do the same to the inner corners of our eyes. Use black mascara and eyeliner as well. Keep the rest of your makeup very minimal, with nude lipgloss. Revlon Superlustrous Lipgloss in Clear is good.

I think your hair would look great straight and down, to show off it's blackness. But a half up half down style would be nice too. Have fun at homecoming!

i think you should kepp your hair straight and wear natural make up, dont go over the top. i think that pink/purple eye shadow and a pink lipstick with natural blush will look great....also depends on the cut of the dress...
