This is weird..?

I'm Asian and I used to have stick straight hair. But when I was about 7, I got my hair cut really short. And as it was growing back, it turned wavy-ish. And then from wavy to curly. And now I'm 13 and it is super curly and thick. I hate it. What do you think caused this and can I fix it so it's naturally stick straight again?

Hair changes like you described are normal. Changes in hair can be caused by hormone changes, illness, medications (such as anethesia, chemo, etc.), stress, aging, etc.

So, there's no way to make your hair go back to what it was naturally and your hair will probably continue to change with time. The only way you'll get it back to stick straight is by straightening it with heat (hair dryer or straightening iron) or with chemicals that will do quite a bit of damage to your hair.

I find that there is a really good hair product to help those of us with unruly hair.

It's called Frommunda Gel. It might smell weird but it does the trick.

you could get it chemicallay straightened. that way it wouldnt be curly and it's less damaging than straightning it.

you can always get your hair straightened, it lasts for months- but i think its expensive.

or you can buy a good straightener. i use a Herstyler. and i lovve it. i heard Chi is a good one too. but they are expensive.

My brother used to have thin shiny straight hair, then it went really wavy, now it's curly. I think it's normal, it's just the way your body is changing as you grow.

I don't think you can fix it though!! Learn how to work it!
